Artist's Statement about this work: Through this piece, I hope to inspire a renewed sense of wonder and appreciation for the small miracles that unfold in our everyday lives. This painting features a vibrant yellow sunflower basking in the warmth of the sun, with a couple of bees diligently going about their work. It is a celebration of the simple yet profound wonders that surround us in the natural world.

Artist's Statement about this work: This is a painting I did from a sketch I did while I was in Escalante, Utah. Through this painting, I aim to inspire reverence for the past and the beauty of resilience in the face of time's relentless march. It prompts viewers to appreciate the value of preserving our cultural and natural heritage and to find beauty in the imperfections and the echoes of history that surround us.

Artist's Statement about this work: I had just picked some tomatoes and early carrots from my garden. When I placed them on the table in the kitchen I was taken with how the light showed the different shapes dancing around together. I thought, "This would make a fun little painting," so I painted it.
