Artist's Statement about this work: I had recently watched a demonstration on neurographic art, which inspired the way I approached this little watercolor w/ink lines view of Delicate Arch, which was the result of a short hike at Arches.

Artist's Statement about this work: Have you ever been in the mountains in august and seen a golden field of miniature sunflowers? They might be Showy Goldeneye, which is a native Utah wildflower. The Golden Northern Bumblebee is a pollinator for this plant, and an enlivening addition to this portrait of this flower.

Artist's Statement about this work: Through this piece, I hope to inspire a renewed sense of wonder and appreciation for the small miracles that unfold in our everyday lives. This painting features a vibrant yellow sunflower basking in the warmth of the sun, with a couple of bees diligently going about their work. It is a celebration of the simple yet profound wonders that surround us in the natural world.
