Artist's Statement about this work: This painting was painted on 140 cold press paper, Arches. I liked this subject for my Holiday Card I gave out last year. It was simple and all the right colors for the Holidays.

Artist's Statement about this work: Many varieties of heirloom fruit are found in Capitol Reef's historic orchards. This autumn scene is painted en plein air from the apple orchard. The aged trees "danced" with the celebration and offered their annual show of vibrant colors.

Artist's Statement about this work: I have a love for lobster buoys! Each lobster fisherman has a unique set of colors that identify their buoys. This buoy birdhouse was hanging, with many, in a roadside stand in Maine. I had to have this one for my back fence to remind me of the ocean, and to provide a home to the many birds in my yard. After vines surrounded it, it definitely needed to be a small painting as well. From the shores of Maine to SLC, I hope the buoy birdhouse in the painting speaks to a viewer and makes their day just a little brighter
